| "ECONOMICS 101" |
| When candidate Trump threatened tariffs on goods from China, Mexico and other countries, many people thought, "yeah, stick it to 'em," thinking they would be paying more. Economics 101 though teaches that tariffs would be paid by the U.S. businesses receiving the foreign goods, and likely passing that extra cost onto the American consumer. Ultimately, it isn't the cure for inflation. |
