In the ongoing ICE saga, another American citizen was shot and killed by an ICE agent. US Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller hastily labeled the victim, protester Alex Pretti, a "domestic terrorist" as "brandishing" a gun, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem likewise followed suit. Videos clearly reveal however that Pretti was only taking videos with his phone, was legally concealed carrying his gun (the NRA has weighed in on this), and was shot after his weapon was taken by an ICE agent. The bottom line: the 1st, 2nd and 4th Amendments cannot be overridden, even when it is convenient to try to meet unrealistic quotas for the number of deportees.
