Besides causing a lot of chaos here at home, the new regime has been simultaneously doing it abroad, waging trade wars and alienating traditional allies like Canada, Greenland, the EU and Ukraine in favor of traditional enemies like Russia. Most Americans thankfully know full well who their friends are in the world and are confused by Trump's worldview, which runs counter to conventional wisdom and appears driven primarily by transactional interests.
