Donald Trump gave his endorsement to North Carolina lieutenant governor Mark Robinson, despite his controversies, and it just may cost him the state and the election. Trump called Robinson "Martin Luther King on steroids" and MLK "times two." Robinson has referred to himself as a "Black Nazi," and in 2011 labeled the famous civil rights leader a "commie," "huckster" and "worse than a maggot." Another time, he declared during a church service, "Some folks need killing!" This is yet another example of an unacceptable culture of violence at work in a fallen political party that appears to have no moral or ethical standards for its candidates. Americans need to send the message that this kind of rhetoric should disqualify anyone for public office, though will they?
