Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently suspended his campaign to endorse Donald Trump. Kennedy's father, RFK Sr., was a very progressive Democrat back in the 1960's who was tragically assassinated as was his brother, John F. Kennedy. Most of the Kennedy family are staunch Democrats, unlike RFK Jr., who tends to be more conservative and likes to promote conspiracy theories about Covid vaccines. My theory is his candidacy was intended from the start to be a spoiler against the Democrats.
