President Biden hasn't shown much concern over the migrant crisis at the southern border or the national security implications that go along with it. While most migrants aren't criminals, having such an open border is in invitation to foreign spies and saboteurs to slip in with them unnoticed. The "everything's fine" messaging is interpreted as denial or disengagement from issues that trouble Americans. This issue, if anything, may very well cause Biden to lose re-election. If he really believes that democracy is at stake in this election, he needs to start running like it actually is, or humbly step aside for someone polls show can win.
