Incidents involving gun violence, particularly murders at an elementary school in Ulvade Texas, have many Americans calling for gun reform, including a ban on assault weapons. While outlawing assault weapons won't stop all violent incidents, it would at least lower the number of deaths. The sad thing is many opponents of reasonable gun control view themselves as heroes or "white knights," when they are just being manipulated with fantasies by the gun manufacturers.
