With over 155,000 COVID-19 deaths in the United States, many of which were thoroughly avoidable had the virus been properly contained by the government from the start, President Trump has shown a lack of remorse for his administration's failure. Harry Truman used to keep a sign on his desk that said, "the buck stops here." Trump may has well have a sign that says, "the buck stops there, and there, and there..." Ultimately American voters will look around at the rest of the world, which has done much better, and hold Trump responsible in November.
