At a recent daily White House briefing on COVID-19, President Trump veered off course, actually floating the idea of using disinfectants to inject in people to somehow treat the virus. He turned to coronavirus coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx asking her hypothetically about that as a possibility. She looked mortified as was virtually everyone watching, but Trump quickly backtracked and claimed he was being sarcastic. That of course wasn't the case, and it appears Trump was either having some kind of "senior moment" or betraying a dangerous ignorance of Safety 101.
