Several major road construction projects have been a huge headache for drivers in La Porte and Michigan City this past summer and into fall. Roadwork on US 20, Johnson Road, Hwy 2, La Porte city Overpass have left people feeling like rats in a maze wherever they turn. I'm thinking they could have somehow been spaced out better. Furthermore, some projects seem to have dragged on too long, such as the work on US 20 in Michigan City. Hopefully they will all be wrapped up by the time the snow flies.
