"If you see something, say something" are good words to live by. The lack of Republicans speaking out against President Trump's dangerous, racially-tinged rhetoric aimed at minority Congresswomen is a troubling betrayal of the public trust. Their lack of concern over the brutal treatment of Mexicans at the border is equally disturbing. It seems that many in the GOP are utterly terrified of Trump to the point where they believe he is above criticism. This spinelessness among Republicans allowed him to use the party as a gateway to a "wanna-be" dictatorship. No amount of Supreme Court justices or tax cuts are worth tossing aside our democracy for a tyrant.
