This past week Iran shot down an unmanned American drone over international airspace, provoking the United States. President Trump considered but rejected a counter-strike he believed would cost Iranian lives. This is probably a wise move in that whomever causes actual bloodshed first is generally held responsible for a military conflict. However, if Iran does cause the loss of American lives, that's a whole other story - we then ought to respond militarily. Until then, we should probably just focus on Iran's non-human targets.
