Julian Assange, founder and director of Wikileaks and internationally wanted man, was booted out of Ecuador's London embassy this past week where he was claiming asylum. After 7 years of hiding out in the U.K., he will be extradited to the U.S. to face charges of hacking U.S. military computers to publish classified intelligence. Although Assange may face jail time, Wikileaks itself continues to publish classified, secret information from anonymous news sources, and I would imagine the organization will try to retaliate for his arrest in some way. Personally, I feel that Wikileaks believes itself to be above the law, and that this is a good wake up call for people like Assange.
