Michigan voters recently legalized recreational marijuana use in a controversial referendum. As in Colorado, most voters felt that they could benefit from revenue generated from taxes on pot. While there are some pros, I would say that there are also some cons: marijuana is something of a "gateway drug" to worse substances, and Michigan may see an increase in traffic accidents as marijuana does effect concentration and judgment. I honestly can't see the same happening here in the Hoosier state, unless it was banned on Sundays :) (per our blue laws which existed 'til earlier this year).
