Migrants fleeing the Syrian civil war and ISIS
to seek safe haven in Europe have encountered
resistance at the Hungarian border, leading to
conflicts between the refugees and border
patrols. Hungary doesn't want any unregistered
immigrants, especially from Muslim countries, to
take up residence there, out of prejudice and
the misperception of them as terrorists. Germany
and other more open nations in the EU are
welcoming the Syrians, who are now being bussed
there from Hungary.
Many Europeans are paranoid about losing their
cultural identity to the influx of Muslims.
Europeans have themselves to blame, and not
Middle-Eastern immigrants, if that is their
concern. Fewer Europeans, despite their social
safety net, are opting to have children.
