The now famous black bear that has wandered south into Indiana from Michigan is making waves here in a state where bears are nearly nonexistent. At first he was seen in Berrien County, Michigan, then in La Porte County, then in the Michigan City area, rummaging through people's trash for subsistence. He's so famous I'm following him on Twitter...seriously (see @bearindiana). Governor Mike Pence-IN and Governor Rick Snyder-MI recently got into a friendly exchange on social media, with Pence basically telling Snyder he can take the bear back, but we'll keep taking Michigan's jobs. Unfortunately, the statement wasn't terribly accurate as Michigan's new job numbers exceed Indiana's according to recent reports, but I digress.
