In recent weeks, allegation after allegation of
rape over the past decades has surfaced against
bill Cosby, comedic icon and purveyor of Jell-O
Pudding Pops. So far well over a dozen women,
including supermodel Janice Dickinson and Carla
Ferrigno, wife of actor Lou Ferrigno, have
accused him of drugging and raping or
attemptedly raping them.
They say where there's smoke, there's fire, and
I'd say there's plenty of smoke here.
Unfortunately, the statute of limitations has
run out on virtually all of these cases, so the
'Cos may never actually be taken to trial. What
I think is truly tragic here is that Bill Cosby
has been a kind of symbol of fatherhood and the
"family man" in America's consciousness, largely
because of his role as Cliff Huxtable on The
Cosby Show. Ya mean TV isn't real???
