House Speaker John Boehner has assembled an investigative committee to examine the State Department's response to the deadly Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya, primarily to undermine the presidential candidacy of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Events like Benghazi and Chris Christie's "Bridgegate" truly highlight how the news media has devolved into outright partisan political machinery in terms of how much they harp on certain stories and ignore others. Before I turn to Fox or MSNBC, I already know how the stories will be covered - or not covered, and what their talking heads will have to say. CNN tries to be nonpartisan, but they too have something of an agenda on certain issues.
