The AFA's Healthcare Marketplace website was rolled out this past month with a number of different technical problems that prevented users from enrolling. I can tell you firsthand from an attempt to simply examine the pricing, that it's next to impossible to correctly verify identity, that there are broken links, and that even agents you call for help don't know what to do and fail to make follow-up calls as promised.
This self-imposed wound on the part of the Administration is certainly bewildering, seeing how there has been ferocious opposition to the Affordable Care Act, and they simply cannot afford to be so sloppy.
As I've said before, I don't care where my health insurance comes from, so long as I always qualify, and that it is truly affordable...and enrollable.
