The wildly popular "Grand Theft Auto" video game just came out with the fifth installment in the series, which contains some pornographic elements and even torture scenes. I never cease to be amazed at the race to the bottom in all forms of media in order to make a dollar. Writers and producers need to actually take responsibility, and so should parents (even though it's impossible to follow your kid around 24/7). The rating systems of games, as well as tv shows have simply made it easier for kids to identify what the "naughty" stuff is, and in many cases, have their parents or older siblings/friends acquire it for them. Back in the good old days, kids would be outside playing - nowadays they're inside running over hookers, robbing banks, and waterboarding people. So much for youth's character development...
