The Indiana Department of Revenue recently discovered $320 million it had misplaced for the past few years. It brings to mind this scene from "It's A Wonderful Life," in which George Bailey confronts Uncle Billy about the $8,000 he lost. George reminds the confused old man that "it means "bankruptcy and scandal and prison!" As far as I know, no heads have rolled for the Dept. of Revenue's error - an error that is fishy to say the least.
