Indiana Democrats left Indy for Urbana, Illinois to be absent for upcoming votes on collective bargaining for state workers and school vouchers, to deny the majority party a series of significant legislative victories. It will be interesting to see if this unorthodox tactic works, or if it turns out to simply prolong the inevitable.
