I find it amusing that candidate Jackie Walorski is trying to characterize Congressman Joe Donnelly as being radically liberal. He is a well-known moderate, and many Democrats consider him actually to be too conservative.
I do like to split the ticket among both Dems and Republicans when I can, with a preference towards the more moderate, independent-minded candidates (who are fewer these days). After all, they are the only ones willing to act in a bipartisan way in order to actually get things done. To vote strictly along party-lines is to be lazy or fanatical. Otherwise you have what we have today: with each political fringe pretending to represent the will of most Americans and endlessly deadlocked as the country suffers.
