It's hard to tell from this cartoon whether Bush is speaking to you and I or to the stereotype of a tycoon whose pocket he is in. That uncertainty is the whole point. He'd like us to believe it's in the average American's interest; but let's face it, he's looking out for his major contributors - and that he believes we won't figure that out - is insulting to our intelligence.
