This is ludicrous, seeing that the vast majority of Dems are working-class families, disadvantaged people in urban areas and young people struggling in this bad economy. The spinners are hoping we don't understand that genuine elitists oppose anything resembling socialism, since socialism by definition aims to break down socio-economic class barriers and strata.
